Our partners at the Jed Foundation (JED) intend to merge with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to become the nation’s largest nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention.
Combining JED’s focus on youth mental health and well-being with ASFP’s investment in research, education, advocacy and public policy will create an even more impactful organization working to end suicide and strengthen mental health at every age. Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the United States.
